Anyone got a Quad Cab with a 2/4 drop? Pics? Also, I know the front and rear difference isn't 2", I know it's between 2"-3" not sure though. Does anyone with this drop able to measure what the actual difference is? I have cut springs in the rear that I am going to replace so I have no way to go out and measure it on my own. I want to try and get it as leveled as I can. Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I know on a crew cab/ single cab the actual difference between front and rear is 2”. But On the Quad Cab it’s more than that. I bought mine used and the rear springs were cut....... uhhh

So I measured mine against a stock height truck just the other day. I have cut my BT coils, but with 1 coil cut off the rears, I am at 3 7/8 lower in the rear. Never measured before I cut the BT springs but I would say the 2-4 kit is closer to 2-3 1/4 to 3 1/2. Planning on pulling my rears next weekend and cutting another coil off. My front is just a hair below 3 inches lower, 2 7/8 passenger side, 2 15/16 driver. Difference is probably cuz of full tank and being on driver's side. I'm also sitting 1/2 inch lower cuz of dropping down to a 275/55-20. If you want, I can put up my actually measurements and the stock one I measured tomorrow.

It would be a miracle if I could hold the phone level to get a decent pic.

If you can get me the actual measurements and the stock ones you measured I would appreciate it. And how many coils you have cut whether it's in the front or rear. Thanks

So I measured around the coil and cut 7 1/2 inches measuring around the outside of the coul up front and 1 coil rear, plan on cutting 1 more off this weekend in the rear. I measured ground to wheel well opening with tape measure centered in the center cap.

STOCK.
LF-36 1/4
RF-36 5/8
LR-38 5/8
RR-38 7/8

CUT COILS
LF-32 3/4
RF-33
LR-34 1/4
RR- 34 1/2

HEIGHT DIFFERENCE
LF-3 1/2
RF-3 5/8
LR- 4 3/8
RR-4 3/8

If you I hadn't dropped to a 275/55- 20 tire, the height will be a half inch taller as that tire size is 1 inch shorter over all. With stock tires, the difference with what I'm running would be.
LF-3
RF-3 1/8
LR- 3 7/8
RR- 3 7/8

Height should be
LF 33 1/4
RF- 33 1/2
LR- 34 3/4
RR- 35

Would like to know what you measure at if you can post it.

I also had about 1/2 a tank of gas as well. Hope that helps.

Thank you. So to sum up you got an extra 3/8'' by cutting a coil of the rear. Kind of lost you in the front, how much was cut? By the way, I was told cutting 2 coils of the rear would give a 1" drop but I wasn't sure. Were the stock measurements from a 4th gen 2wd?

I measured the circumference of the spring and it was 18 inches so split the difference between 1/3 of a coil (6 inches) and 1/2 of a coil (9 inches) and cut it at 7 1/2 from the end. The pic of the spring "scrap" shows what I cut off. The stock truck I measured was a 2wd 4th gen, 2017 I believe. I heard that 2 coils on the rear would give 1inch as well, but you can always cut more off, can't add back if you do too much.

Thank you again. Gonna just put the front coils and call it a day up in front. Since difference between front and rear on one side is .5” and on the other .25. I’m just going to cut the one coil in the rear like you did, but I’m going to do half a coil at a time. Just to make sure lol. Also do you get any death wobble?

The only time I ever had that scary wobble was when I had a tire with a broken belt on the front right tire and another time when I picked up a lag bolt in the left rear. If you get the wobble, I strongly suggest getting tires looked at first.

Hey. Did you ever cut the coil off the rear? Also forgot to ask. Is yours 2wd? And the stock vehicle you measured also a quad cab?

On the rear I have cut 2 coils total, 2wd and the stock height truck was a quad cab.
Do you happen to know how much lower the two coils made it? Also did you have any problems with bottoming out? I don’t know how much to cut from rear so it can be leveled with my 2” front drop springs. Also do you have relocation brackets?
