Hey

I'm wondering if yall that have installed 5100s set to 2.8 and have not changed your UCAs have premature ball joint issues. I am wanting to do 2.8 in the front, a 1ish in spacer in the rear, and maybe a 1 1/2" body lift. I am planning on getting 35x12.5 on my stock Laramie wheels.

Just did mine about 1000 miles ago and no issues yet.

Bils at 2.8 front and ready lift 1.5 spacer and bils in the rear. Currently sitting on 40k miles on 285 tires.

Trying to decide between a 1.5” or 3” BL.

2014 Ram I ran at 2.8 with 295/65-20's for 91k miles without an issue on stock upper and lower control arms. They never made a thud, squeak, or noise.

Great! Thats about the tire size I am wanting to go with. Did you do a BL at all?

Nope. Other than the 2.8 Bilsteins its stock height. The tires on 2014 rubbed full lock in reverse, the 2018 stock wheels just like the 2014 no rubbing. No complaints for me, I didnt want to run a spacer. To give you an idea of how little it did run, I drive is 80k like that.
