High mileage engine. Nearly 620K. Never rebuilt. Now drivewayed.
Years back (circa 2005) Chrysler said it was a grounding problem and replaced wiring harness and installed a ground strap. Recently replaced PCM. All new ignition system and several new sensors, strap not replaced. Lost all my service history when my shop closed during covid. Otherwise, all good. Just not safe to drive. Runs great at speed but dies at idle at signal/stopped traffic. A problem for 3/4 ton truck on flat ground. Takes a few hours until restart, soon after system cools down. Some type of electrical problem? I guess I should just take it to an auto electric shop and go through wiring harness? Stumped!
