I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 and the tranny has acted weird the last couple weeks. Some days it would shift fine and others it would have to go to 3000 rpm to shift. Today it will not shift at all. It is not slipping as I can drive it in 2nd and 1st gear manually, but that is it. I also checked for codes with my scan tool and got nothing.
I checked the output speed sensor and it ohmed out at 650 ohms which is in range for the sensor so I don't think it is the problem. I read that the governor solenoid and transducer can go bad and not send a code because they are still showing a voltage.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
