hello,
A few months ago my cruise control just died driving down the AlCan. No light or anything. I have been dealing with a few other issues- fuel tank sending unit and an exhaust brake, and everyone’s favorite cracked dash, and heater motor.
Since I am going to driving this rig back up north next spring, cruise has come up on my radar.
Haven’t been able to find much online about it or just looking in the wrong place- built this list of things to look into.
Possibilities:
Clock spring?
Cruise control switch?
Fuse panel?
I will be breaking out the manual and trying to track down a starting point.
I don’t think it’s vacuum related- since the indicator light doesn’t come on. So I plan to tear into that starting from the power source and going to the switch.
Anyone have a similar problem, trucks have been working me over pretty good this year, hopefully the new year will bring some much needed vehicular cooperation.
Thanks
