Hey guys.

I bought a 2003 Dakota a week ago, and yesterday it started bogging down at idle. All of the issues it's displaying point towards a bad EGR Valve. Upon inspection, I find that the EGR valve has no wires going to it, and an empty connector on top. Could this be causing my issue? How would I trace where that wire might be? Where would it start?

No, it's not throwing a CEL at all. I even ran the ODB while it idled to see if it said anything, and nothing.

Is the Engine a rebuild?
