2003 hidden winch mount

Well after searching around the web I came up empty handed for a hidden winch mount for the front of my 2003 ram 1500. So I decided to fab up my own.... Let me know what you all think.

Looks brutally effective. But 6,000#s isn't a very high rating for a full size truck.

I was worried about that my self. The winch was a gift so I just went with it, but to my surprise I buried my truck in the mud, took every bit of my 100' line and still pulled me out. I also have a snacb block if I ever need to double up.

How did u mount it to the frame rail ?

Drilled thru the angle iron on the sides then thru the frame. Attached using 4 grade 8, 1/2" bolts.
