Just bought 04 1500 with the 4.7L and had a couple of evaporated emission codes. Found a hose with a big slit running up its side. For a quick fix I just stuck it back onto nipple and just used some tape to keep it in place for now. I just don't know what this hose is called. Was just going to buy some vacuum hose but the end that comes up to near the battery isn't round. Hope someone can tell me what this hose is called so that I can replace it. Here are some pictures.
