2004 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Towing Brake Controller

I’m looking to tow a trailer and I already have the seven pin installed in my hitch. I have located the blue plug-in underneath my dash on the left-hand side for the plug and play brake controller it is already plugged in leading to two seperate leads a two and three prong. Can I remove this and plug and play

If the controller you have has a cable with a single plug for your year Ram then you should be able to remove the previous cable and directly plug your controller cable into the truck plug and should be ready to tow with it. Follow the controller directions for the setup and the size/weight of the trailer. Good luck.
