2005 Ram 2500 Alternator

Hello,
My Alternator just started a intermittent wine until it runs awhile during a cold snap and I have a 4 hour round trip scheduled, should it be ok until I return ? I can buy one at O’Reillys for $184 or I can order one off Amazon for $106 and get it Friday

Depends on if you feel lucky. Myself I would replace it before I went on a long trip. If I was just running around town, I would just run it until it gave up. So do you feel lucky?
