I was wondering if anyone has added a steering damper on their Ram? I'm replacing my shocks both front and back along with inner and outer tie rods with all ball joints and upper control arms. I saw a 2500 with it and wanted to know if adding one would be beneficial. I have a 1500 with the hemi with 2 inch spacers with 20's and 33x12.5 mudders.. Any thoughts would be helpful

Your 2008 model 1500 has a rack and pinion setup for steering. The typical steering stabilizer like the ones for the 2500/3500 setup wont work for your steering system. But, there is a kit made by Fabtech that I have used on two different truck like yours. The Fabtech part number is FTS8009 and it is sold under the Ford F150. The kit works really well with just a little modification to make the inner bracket work with the Dodge. The kit is available on Amazon for $167. If you have some wrenching skills and an imagination you can make it work like I have. The pic I have attached is on a Ford F150 and is only one side but you get the idea.Fabtech FTS8009.jpg
