Truck been running fine. Went to go to work recently and would not go in any gear. Shift lever moves loosely, not making any engaging bumps as normal. Threw PO876 code. Replaced switch and didn't fix. Now threw multiple codes..PO988, PO731. PO876, PO882, PO871, PO841 & PO846. Any ideas to fix?

Did you get under truck? Can you see any damage with wiring harness? That many codes imo a main suspect is electrical some type of way. And you can't even shift into neutral when stopped? Without starting truck or with? Did truck ever shift into gear after the first code was posted?

Normally if it was shifter linkage it would be locked not loose, but I don't see how shifter linkage could cause those codes. What do you mean not making bumps? You can go to drive or other gears it just doesnt engage? But you can move shifter linkage?
