2010 ram front speakers stopped working

I have a 2010 ram 1500 with stock uconnect touch screen radio, both door speakers randomly cut out . Sub and back speakers still work . Its not the settings on the radio , checked the radio plug ins. Anyone experinced this problem ? Thanks!

If both died at the same time I’d put money on it being something inside the factory head unit. Excellent excuse to move up to a more modern aftermarket stereo.

Tomt , i ended up finding and buying a new stock head unit exact same. Still no luck with the speakers ... must be the amp. Is it possible to get an after market amp some how to just plug and play? Dont want to change speakers . Dodge wants 800 bucks for the amp. Thanks for the help !

It has a separate stock amp? You need to give a better description of your stock system. I don’t want to steer you wrong.

My bad ! And yes. so my truck system is: rer touch screen head unit , then wire harness down to a stock chyrsler amp located under the steering colum with a 22 pin plug in , then a smaller plug out of the amp to then split to the speakers and sub. Everything is oem.
