Bought a 2011 Ram 3500 with a Bad Head unit worked with the dealer to find the correct replacement. Plugged it in and entered the code bam she's up and working kinda.
Am/FM - works
Touch screen function - works
Satellite - check antenna sys (highlighted in yellow) not allowing the radio to access the satellite radio?
Is this a bad roof mounted antenna?
GPS - Also says searching for antenna?

On 2013+ models SXM and GPS are the same antenna. Are you sure everything is plugged in?

There's one roundish plug on the rear of the radio and yes its plugged in .
Is it possible the unit on the roof is bad?
Or is there supposed to be a second roundish harness plug ?

I'm not so familiar with earlier setups (pre 2013) but looking at pictures it looks like they have similar Fakra antenna connections on the back. The white round connection is AM/FM antenna and the mustard colored plug is SXM/GPS. The plugs are keyed so only the proper factory antenna connection will plug in. If you suspect the antenna on top of the truck, you can test to see if GPS is restored with an inexpensive replacement antenna.

The aforementioned will only work for GPS though. If there is only one actual plug on the back but a spot near it where it looks like a second plug would have been, it is likely broken off in salvaging (not uncommon).
