Hello Ram fam, I recently bought 2011 ram 1500 hemi (I am in love with it). Its my first 4x4 vehicle, so I am still learning how to use it correctly. Today I engaged 4wd and at low speeds almost about to stop, Then there is like this hard push forward felt like someone hit the back of the truck but not to hard. Feels like it’s grabbing a gear or something. Other than that its perfect. Is that something that is meant to happen or should i be really concerned. Thanks in advance!

Clean truck for a '11. Nice grab. Were you turning or going straight?

Get it on a dirt or gravel road or driveway and shift it into 4wd high at about 15mph to test it. If it's working properly you should be able to shift it on the fly up to about 45mph but do it slow the first time until you are sure it works.
