2011 ram fuel pump issue

I recently swapped out my fuel pump with a new aftermarket one as my old one kicked the bucket. The new one I put in just started acting up when I put the ignition on it not always comes on truck runs then dies then I cycle the key back on it comes alive fires up and runs fine. Defective new pump? It’s only 3 days old.

Possibly the relay, there's a way to bypass it to test, a google search will turn up how.

But, I learned a long time ago, new is spelled N-E-W, not G-O-O-D
