Can someone help. I took my truck in to have this done. This should enable RKE. All the forum posts I have read says this works.
-Add sales code GXM to vehicle options. -Under Diagnostic procedures with Wi-tech do a restore vehicle reconfiguration. -The Wi-tech will then reset. -Go into the WCM under Misc functions hit the Reset WIN configuration. -Clear all codes then program the new keys.
They say they flashed it. But RKE didn't work. They programmed the new fobs for me. But my old fobs work as well. I was under the assumption that when resetting the WIN and clearing the codes the old keys would no longer work? Am I correct. They are saying that I need a new WIN module or the remote start kit. My WIN module Parr number is 5026533AF. Is this the correct module? Did they just screw me out of $200? What am I missing?
