Hey Guys,

So I have a 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 Longhorn with a 8ft Box and need to delete the EGR. Not sure about everything I need to delete it. Also what tuner / programmer do I need? I know where to get the Delete Kit, not sure about anything else.

Thanks

Diesel power products, rolling smoke diesel, etc are a few websites that will sell delete kits, and tuners and all your other fun stuff you might wish to dive into. Truthfully I don’t think you need anything besides the delete kit to do the EGR, I could be wrong though.

Would it pass NY state inspection with a delete?

Just looked it up, you’ll need a tuner to delete the egr, mainly to shut it off and disable any CEL’s. That should keep you in check for NY state inspection assuming you live outside of the DEMA counties? All they do is an OBDII emissions test, and forego the tailpipe test
