I just purchased a 2012 Ram 3500 dually.
The headlights are way too low. I can barely see them past the hood.
When I hook up my 28 foot goose-neck trailer with a decent load - the lights are still only illuminating 10 yards in front.
PO used the bumper hitch and must have had a heavy load....
I can't get a 7mm socket to work on the adjusters (or any size socket for that mater...)
I took some pics. And before I remove the assembly's...
First - are these stock head light assembly's?

And are the adjusting screws missing - or are these special adjustment heads that take a special wrench?

Any help is appreciated!

Those certainly do look like a stock 4th gen quad headlight assemby.

I would offer that it's not a matter of aiming the headlight so much as it is the poor quality of the OEM reflector halogen headlight.

There is a lot of information on headlight issues here on the forum and quite a bit of discussion on how folks have resolved the poor light output.

In the pics - my camera is laying flat on the hood of the truck with the lens over the adjustment hole - it looks like the actual torx / 7mm bolts are missing - and all that is there is the hole where they are supposed to be.

They are aftermarket from China - and they do have adjusters - but the torx / 7mm cam gear screws are missing.
I did a couple of mods and they are working as good as OEM's now.
I made a quick video-
