So I had my tires replaced about a month ago. (I've discussed this on another thread about TPMS problems) and very shortly after I started having TPMS issues. Specifically the right rear wheel.
Ive done every bit of troubleshooting including getting the tire joint to replace the sensor. Problem persists. When the RR wheel does come back online it seems to stay at 38 psi. All of the tires start at 38 psi when cold.
OK....As I stated, discussed in another thread. At the same time I noticed that my remote FOB does not seem to be transmitting very well at any range. Either that or the truck is not receiving the signal. I know what you're thinking, "change the battery in the FOB" well did that 2 months ago and did last week. Problem persists.

Going to try a battery disconnect for about 15 minutes and see if that helps reboot anything.

any idea if the 2009 is supposed to have the tpms monitor on the cluster ?
All I can see on alfa obd is that it says it's not responsive .

Haven't had a chance to officially trouble shoot yet but I think my TPMS problem and my wireless are related.
New battery in the fob anyway and it still has a hard time. I can be right on top of the thing and it won't lock or unlock.
As for the TPMS I may have inadvertently discovered something.
Once the system "resets" it will read accurately for a while, but the right rear pressure does not change. The other 3 wheels are fine.
I've noticed though that in the morning on the way to work The right rear sensor cuts out when I brake and throw the truck into a left turn to exit the highway.
Almost every morning at the same rough location. When it cut out the 1st time after the sensor was replaced I was also braking and turning left. Hopefully I can figure this out this weekend.

Looking forward to your update and findings!

My TPMS reads the drivers side as passenger side on the cluster. Very curious to hear about what you learnt about the wireless system.

Load test your starting battery with a toaster-style battery load tester such as this $18 device from HarbourFreight.

A flakey cell in a new battery could cause grief with the RF Hub module producing FOB & TPMS headaches. A low starting battery voltage will also reduce the functional range of both FOBs & TPMS.
