That’s in great shape and a bargain IMO. I wouldn’t boost it or mess with the reliability for a backwoods vehicle. Rustproofing and rocker protection along with servicing all the fluids would be my first steps.

Well, the first thing I did was replace the leaky 3rd brake light gasket
