2013 ram 1500 bed issue

i just noticed that my bed is not lined up with my cab, if i look down the passanger side its in line, if i look down the drivers side is off maybe an inch plus. anyone else notice this on there 4th gen ram. i had the truck since new and never noticed it. never had a accident.

There are a few threads on this. Not sure why or how that passed inspection. I thought my 2017 had it, but I noticed the bed sucks in a bit by the cab and was even on both side. But I did noticed it on my 2014.

What I did was loosen 5 of the 6 18mm bolts that hold the bed on. I kept the right rear near the tailgate tight as it needed to shift toward the driver side. Pulled it even and then tightened the bolts.

Ha ha ha. Join the club. My 2016 was flush on one side and 2” + gap on the other side! Ha ha. What a joke.

The fix allegedly is moving the cab believe it or not. That was from the other thread

My '15, had since new, had been in the dealer body shop 4 times to correct the bed alignment issue. Every time they said it was fixed it was not. Truck looks like it is leaning hard to the passenger side due to the bed alignment. I gave up on them getting it correct because it never would be aligned correctly with the cab. Once my truck was out of warranty they wouldn't touch it, which is bs due to it being never corrected the first time

My 17 is brutal. In my case it's 2 fold because the box is out of alignment so far that they can't get it lined up because there isn't enough play in the mounts and the front left lower panel was welded in too far at the bottom so even if you get the top lined up the bottom looks a bit like a stepside without the step. Hopefully the new ram plant won't have these issues.
