Found a nice deal on a 2013 with the dash knob shifter. So nothing significant in the center console. However, I need 6 seats.

I've seen people go from bench to console but can't find someone going the other way. Anyone know if this is possible without too much trouble.

Probably the best place here!
Lots of people who want to get rid of the jump seat and are looking for a center console.
With a bit of luck you might find someone here who is willing to trade.
Post a few pics and a location.
Unfortunately forum rules allow only members with a minimum of 50 posts to open a thread in the classified section.

That being said - I have a grey 2013 jump seat and might be willing to trade for a center console.
I'm located in the Orlando area and don't want to get into all the shipping hassle.

Yea I figured finding someone to trade would be easy. Problem is everyone is going the other direction. I don't want to pull out the console to find some headache I wasn't expecting. Or some bolt pattern that isn't easily compatible due to xyz. So I was wondering if anyone knew a post or article where it had been done and a guess to if it's straightforward or not.

I'm sure someone has done it. I just don't want any surprises I hadn't planned on.

I was originally looking at an older f150 and while there are aftermarket center seats online, some trucks had a amp or something that had to be considered... Or something like that lol.

It will bolt right on to your seats and floor. You will need the attaching brackets, seat belt and hardware.

You will also need a different center stack trim panel.

As I suggested ...
Find you someone who is willing to trade, meet up with him/her and do the swap.
All the parts you'll need will be in the "donor's" car. The swap should be easy enough.
Therefore a pic & your location are essential information.

So... Everyone is convinced dodge didn't hide anything under there. (This one has the alpine stereo if that matters) Wonder if the carpet runs under as well... I'd imagine so..

Too bad you don't have a 09-12. I have all the swap parts needed. Just put the console in my 2012

If you meet up with someone you should be able park your trucks and swap parts on the spot with nothing missing. The only exception may be under seat vents, quad cabs don't have them, crew cabs do but they will fit in either configuration.

If I remember right, you will need a 13mm socket, a Phillips screw driver and an optional plastic auto trim removal tool.

The seat belt is attached to the center jump seat so no worries there. Should be the same plugs under the seat as well, but if not I have a full jumpseat wiring harness I'll sell.
