Jeremy from Retro Shop is installing some of those sweet new LED halos in my 2013 Sport headlights next week. I'm wanting them to run all the time rather than just with the headlights. Curious if anyone has experience with a good 12 volt KEYED source under the hood somewhere that I can tap into?? I figure I'd ask before I get in too deep.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

I dont have anything under the hood but I used the 12v switched from the cig. lighter thingy in my center console. Since thats inside you could wire a switch off of it also so you could turn off your LEDs if you wanted.....

I was thinking about running a switch also, but decided that I would rather have them on all the time. So no need for a switch, or running into the cab.

Still open for under the hood suggestions...

Use an add a circuit and add it to the sunroof fuse circuit. It won't draw any power from the truck unless it's turned on.

This item. Retains the stock fuse. And gives you a place to wire from

Perfect. Is the sunroof in the panel under the hood?

Alright, I got in the box. The SUNROOF is a weird looking 30 amp fuse...I can't even figure out how to get the damn thing out.

There is a "normal" looking 20 amp fuse titled "Power Outlets (Instrument Panel/Center Console)". I'm assuming this one would work too, wouldn't it? I checked the outlet with a phone charger, and there is no power to it when the truck is off. I'm assuming it would still have power running to it with the truck running and nothing plugged in....RIGHT?

I pulled the fuse, it's tiny like the rest of them. Do they sell those add-a-circuit things that small??

I appreciate the help White Beauty.

Yeah sorry sunroof was the one I used on the wife's car. I'll check what one I used on the truck.
