I am hoping I can actually do what I wanting to do.
I have a 2011 ram 3500 SRW with 6.7l cummins. Steering blows as everyone knows.
I'd like to get from a salvage yard, 6-bolt steering box from 2013+, power steering pump (mine is making noise), and throw them in my truck.
I think they'll work. I believe I need the pitman arm from a 2013+ ?
I'm not sure if the drag link on the 2013+ is the same diameter bolt as the 2011 style.
Will this work? why not if no?
Will I need any other parts I am not thinking about?
I know I could order a 6-bolt box but I can get both the pump and steering box for like $300 or less.
