Hello,
I have a 2014 1500 V6. My coolent temp gets up to 240 with normal driving, no towing or hills. I drive 15-20 mins with interstate driving and it gets to 240 after 5-10 mins. Dealer says thats normal, I say bulls**t. What do I do?

I have the same setup, I’ll have to check tomorrow when I drive it what my temp is.... I’m thinking it’s about what you are running.

That’s close to normal. Especially depending on outside temps and other driving factors. Pentastars run hot.

This was last night. 57 degrees outside. Going up a hill but still. Even after it upshifted it hovered around 210. You can see the temp gauge isn’t showing danger at all. I wouldn’t worry a thing.

Another thing to note. Have you checked your coolant level? Rams are notorious for being low even from factory. My Dad and I both had to put some in ours when we bought them.
