Did DS ever release a trans tune for the 2014 8spd?

Yes, the Perf. Trans tune. Slightly firms up-shifting but no where near a custom tune that will also help downshifts especially with the pedal tap 2-3+ gears for engine braking. Personally use it all the time so the necks start snapping.

Sweet, so I can get a Jay Green tune that will also improve shsifting? I have been checking periodically for the shift points being able to tune on the 14.

I've heard it was hit or miss with the 8HP 2014s in the past but recently nobody is at least speaking out about it. If your truck takes in the DS canned trans tune you will be able to accept a custom provided you have a CMR device.

Check with Jay Greene,last news I heard was no or very iffy on the 13 and 14 8 speeds.HP can tune your tranny,and Jay Greene also does e-mail HP tunes.I know there's a few guys running around with a Diablo engine tune and a HP tranny tune on their 14's.The tunes can be stacked,but if you're buying a e-mail tune, i'd just go for the HP engine/tranny tune set-up.

What is HP tune? I been following Diablo Sport tune info since i joined the forum and am only recently seeing HP.

It's a far superior tuning platform compared to Diablo's CMR based tuning platform.HP allows a lot more access to the tuning parameters compared to a Diablo tune.HP has had tranny tuning for the 14's for a couple years now.
