Hey everyone,

Relatively new to the forum, recently bought a 14 Black express a month ago so I'm going through and finding what goodies I can.
I recently bought the 7" cluster that has 40k on it with my current being only 31k. I'm a little antsy to install it sooner and I'm well versed in soldering so I was curious if anyone had access to both schematics so I can swap the chips that store mileage and engine hour operation. I had seen this on another forum as I was digging around but it pertained to a 2003 so I was weary that the chip set my be located elsewhere on the circuit card for my model year.

Thank you for your assistance!

I hope you figure this out Sir . If you do post up a DIY on it .

I'd likely go ahead and upgrade my cluster if I could just do this myself . I hate you either wait to catch up on mileage or send it to a shop and pay $$$ more money just to have them program in your miles & such .

Still scouring the depths of the interwebs, closest thing I found was an older side by side comparison of the 3rd Gen clusters and references to 8 pin chips. I was hoping to find something at least something vaguely familiar to see where all of the NVM (non-volatile memory) is stored. Still no luck but I have about 8000 more miles worth of time to find a solution lol
