I have liked hundreds of posts. Some struck me as true. Some struck me as funny. Some I liked the pictures. Some I just liked the story. Etc...

You must be gifted with a 6th sense to divine my intentions for clicking the like button.

And to think you are the one accusing me more than once of being paranoid...

Definitely true. When I got back from vacation with my '11 2500 5.7l 4x4 the evic said 15.3 from the long steady trip. Normally while I'm driving it back and forth from work it's around 11.9. If I reset the evic while driving on a long flat drive I've gone 30 mins or so with it reading north of 20 mpg, this at 55 mph of course. Sometimes my evic is high, sometimes it's low but it's never right on.

I am gifted, gifted at seeing through people's BS so you ain't fooling anyone but yourself.

Mtofell accused me trying to start a gas versus diesel debate in the Oil temps thread which is something you have done multiple times which is why I told him "Wow, you are starting act like Drittal.". This is a true statement because you have accused me of trolling or trying to start a diesel versus gas debate multiple times when it isn't true. Gee, the very same guy who accuses me of starting crap A LOT "likes" another post where another person wrongfully accuses me of starting crap and he is trying to dismiss it as if he didn't agree with it. You would be lying if you said that agreeing with his statement of accusing me of starting crap wasn't one of the reasons you "liked" his post. So again, you cab BS yourself, but you cannot BS me.

Funny, you made a post in this thread commenting on the numbers the OP posted. Did I call you a troll or accuse you of trying to start some gas versus diesel debate? No. I essentially did the same thing in the One of those days thread where I commented on the numbers posted and you accused me of being a troll. So you commenting on numbers posted by the OP is fine, but me commenting on numbers posted by the OP is trolling? Huh?!? Do you seriously not see the hypocrisy in that?

Jesus Christ. Can any thread in this forum go without childish bickering? Do us a favor and exchange emails. It's the internet version of going to the parking lot.

Going back to the OPs original post, I can't believe that the manual transmission gets 5mpg better. If it does I seriously screwed up. Only reason that I got the automatic was so my wife would spell me some on long trips. She can drive a manual but after just a short test drive her leg was tiring from the heavy clutch.

The manual trans is only available behind the detuned CTD so it probably does use a little less fuel.

Long time no see. Still averaging 27-34mpgs freeway. Deleted at 87k. I have been enjoying the Edge CS2 giving me 15 numbers while I drive. 211k miles on 2015 Tradesman 4x4 Crew Cab G56. Nothing broken, but replaced front pads at 150,000. Back pads look like 80%. Oil still clean to about 6000k 10k oil/filter changes. T6 Rotella, 33k all other filters and Oils. 100k Brake DOT3. Will probably attach a copper or aluminium hose to the fill hole of the G56 since I change the fluid so often. The 2 diffs have tapped 1/4 drain holes with rubber washers to ease the draining.

I was told this is true 20-33% less fuel due to the transmission G56 being rated at most 500HP

Some mechanics said G56 is 20-33% better MPGs and this is what I get:
    27-33 MPGs Freeway
    20-25 Mpgs City
10-20 Mpgs Mud, Fire Roads, Desert no roads, Mountains Washed out roads, Snow without chains or Radiator TOWEL 2 BLOCK COLD.
