just curious what the normal temps are for the new 8spd hemi...? my 2008 had a few issues. not sure why... maybe it was treated bad before me but it made me paranoid... did not detour me from a new ram though when it became to much to fix again...

my lovely loaded big horn has a beautiful 7 inch display in my dash that tells me coolant temp.trans temp, oil temp and oil pressure... can someone please let me know what these should be in under normal conditions and what to watch out for? i haul a 700 pound payload daily or more no trailer towing.... yet...

tonight after few stop and dos after work they were

coolant...210 f
trans temp 185 f
oil temp219 f
oil pressure 34 (stopped when i was done driving. sitting at idle)

My 2013 numbers are around yours when at full operating temperature. My oil pressure is a bit higher - - idle in the 40's, throttle upper 50's (synthetic redline 5w20)

I'm running pennzoil platinum full synthetic oil. Good to hear I know there's a difference between the 6 speed and 8 speed normal temps

Your tranny temps look just fine, mine runs around 190 pretty much all the time. The 8 speeds have a "thermal management system" and per the manufacturer, keep the temps up higher for better efficiency.

With my 180° Tstat my temps obviously came drastically for coolant and oil both hovering around 185°/186° With my tranny around 181° now. Cruising oil pressure is around 53# and idling is 44#.
