2016 1500 bed rail caps?

I'm a new ram owner and I just joined the forum and this may sound stupid but I'm looking for bed rail caps for 2016 ram big horn 5'7 bed. But for the life of me, everywhere I've looked online only shows for the 8ft. Bed and 6'4 bed. Am I missing something here, or am I just not understanding this correctly? Do they just not make them for my size? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I am also looking for some beefier caps for my short bed cc. Bushwhacker has made caps for previous generations that extend down the bed a little more than the flush to stock ones, gut I can't seem to find this style for my ram.

U mean to tell me the short bed isn't even 6' anymore??? That's ridiculous! Are u sure ur measuring right?? I'm not understanding exactly what u mean by bed rail caps??

That's exactly why I posted this...because I don't know. Every website only gives 2 options 8 ft. And 6'4 bed. What I mean is dee zee and other places makes them in black diamond plate, aluminum diamond plate, the bed side caps that come standard are plastic. Hopefully this makes sense

I too have the 5'7" bed. Crew cabs do this to keep the length the same as the qc with the the 6' bed. As far as what we are looking, here is an example.

Mine has them, but on my old 98 Ram I had ones that went onto/down the bed about an inch for extra protection.

What I'm looking for is the aluminum diamondplate like the one Dee Zee makes. I unfortunately have already gotten my bed sprayed, i wish I would have thought to have the rails sprayed as well at that time.

Ram 1500 crew cab is 5'7". Quad is 6'4". 3/4 ton is the same bed design crew cab with a 6'4".

I'm wanting to get rid of the factory plastic piece of sh** bed liner & spray mine!!! Only thing stopping me so far is the gooseneck trailer plug that's mounted on the side

As the title says I posted this a few weeks ago with some great insight about other things (getting bed tails sprayed etc) However my question wasn't really answered. I'm a new ram owner, looking for diamond plate bed rail caps for a 2016 ram 1500 crew cab with the 5'7 bed. The plastic factory ones just make the truck look ridiculous to me(just my opinion) I've looked and looked everywhere online with no luck. I have found online diamond plate bed rail caps but they are ALL for the longer bed sizes. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance all!

they just might not make them. I would think the market is not there for that size because most companies won't buy a truck with a 5'-7" bed as a work truck. Most companies buy 8'

True. I get what you're saying. However they have them for the 6'4 bed as well.

Share it if you find them. Factory ones are wrinkled on my truck because they're junk.

Why not go to a sheet metal place and see if they would be willing to make you a custom set. Or, buy the longer ones and cut them down. Some companies that have a metal break and sell metal will make small custom items like that. I know the place here in north Nashville has done it for me.

unless things have changed under the plastic rails, it is not a smooth surface. one thought is to get the dee zee and cut them to size.

that would be a defect and covered under warranty.

Thanks everyone. Much appreciated. I think I'm gonna try getting the 6'4 ones from deezee and cut them down. But before I do that, first, does anyone know (other than the bed length difference) are the contours of the beds the same?
