Hello

I am doing my truck accessory research while waiting for my ordered 2500 to come in. One of the options I bought is the wheel to wheel running boards. I also bought the Ram mud guards for front and rear that will work with OEM flares as have off road pkg (82214137 & 82214136). A few part reps at different dealers have told me the front mudflaps might not work according to Chrysler when using the wheel to wheel side steps on a 2500. I have attached a pic of both the wheel to wheel style and the regular crew cab style. The space between the front of both styles and the edge of the vehicle seem identical to me so not sure why the front mudflaps might not fit on the wheel to wheel version. Anyone tried to use mopar mudflaps listed above with the wheel to wheel running boards on a 2500? Did they work on the front wheels or was there a fit issue?

The Husky mudflaps will apparently work, but I prefer the look and coverage of the Mopar’s.

Thanks,

Mark

I have the Factory Step Boards with the Ram Molded Guards Front and rear. The Front just Barely Clears the edge of the step. I think they work fine.

I have wheel to wheel steps and the mopar splashguards. They work, but don’t fit 100% on the front axle. They’re definitely touching on my truck.

Do you want the molded splash guards or the rubber mud flaps?

I have the same identical set. Once installed they are adjustable do a degree. So you could slide the wheel to wheel set back a little so the front flaps will have enough room. I wish mine were wheel to wheel.

Weathertech mud flaps work fine on mine, wheel to wheel and flares.

I have w to w side steps on my 17. They are the 4" SS raptor I believe and the own mopar splash shields. I was able to slide the steps back a bit due to notches in the steps where they mount to the brackets. Doing that, i was able to get them to fit but they are very close if not touching each other. They do look great though and I'm very happy with them
