Hey guys new to the forum here so hope you're all doing well, I'm right stumped with my 16 ram 2500, it's got the dual climate control and I'm not getting any heat, the weird thing is that both heater core hoses are hot, engine is up to normal temps, checked to make there was no air in the coolant system, I've done manual reset on the unit with no avail, I've had my computer hooked to it and the interior temp sensor/thermistor is working and accurate, did a blend door calibration and manually moved them via the scanner and they worked, under data all sensors are reading as they should, i held the hot/cold buttons 5sec to access the reset module and data spot to no avail, the ac compressor is NOT running during the heat being on, I've tried it on recirculation and still nothing, not even close to being warm, I'm completely stumped here.. I figured if the module itself was bad I'd be having other symptoms than just no heat, right?? I don't know.. any opinions or things to do would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Just had the same issue. Same truck. Had a lot of casting sand in the heater core blocking off most of it. I used ironite and just flushed it both directions after letting it sit. My heat is back. Also what could help is right after doing the core flush, hook up the lines backwards and run it for a few days. Flush and flip them back. Or bite the bullet and change the heater core.

Also if you can get one use a flush gun. Uses water and air. The way I used the ironite was to mix it up in a 5 gallon bucket, put couplers on your heater hoses and extend them to the floor. Then added a drill pump in line with some cheese cloth or something to filter the pickup, put my biggest battery on the drill and zip tied it between 1/4 and 1/2 speed and just let it run backwards until it died. The. Flushed with clean water the correct way a few times.
