It allows NAV override (you can enter nav stuff in motion), you can turn on the backup cam as an AUX input, and you can switch on the backup cam while driving

I bought it with an aftermakret tailgate handle cam to add to my 2015 without having dealer reporgram the truck and add the backup cam code.

Paid about $190 for the tailgate handle with camera AND this module.
