Vehicle out of warranty. Shifting is problematic when towing. Appears to be a TCM according to a scan. Some times the engine revs high as if clutch is slipping. Took to a doge dealership and they won’t troubleshoot because Valvaline transmission fluid as recommended on various forums was used. The shifting issues occurred prior to switching from Mopar OEM fluid. Dealership says they can replace the entire transmission. Other issue is a wiring noise coming from the rear diff. Again Dodge dealership says it will cost $675.00 to disassemble to inspect further. I don’t know why I am paying more than $245 for diagnostics when they’re telling me they can’t fix the transmission and can’t diagnose the noise without further costs.
