Greetings to you all...My first post,

Last week I upgraded my tires from the stock Good Year Wrangler 20 inchers to the Toyo Open Country Lt AT 2 285/60R20,...which gave me a 1 inch larger diameter tire on the stock rims with the snow flake rating, and 10 plys as well... picked up 1/2 inch in truck height...very very pleased with these tires, much less body roll and will perform better in snow as well as offroad and light mud. I will give these a 5 star rating for my type of driving conditions.
Snow, offroad and for hunting logging roads with some mud....quiet on the highway as well.

Today I had installed the Rancho quick lift front strut units p/n 999930 & 999944. Rear were 2 RS999367.
Both front and rear have a 9 position adjustable setting, I set both front and rear to 7.
Very pleased with the new stiffer ride, amazing flatness while cornering, truck does soak up bumps, but
not as well as the stock system, which is a major improvement...the Truck gained aprx 2 inches in front
height and remained about the same in the rear. If I had to complain I wish I could have gained 1 extra inch up front, but very pleased so far with the new suspension components.

Truck front height is aprx 1 1/4 lower that the rear after installing the Rancho System, which is fine because I pack a Travel Lite camper in the summer.

My question is, are the Outdoorsman higher in stock height than the regular ram 1500 HEMI?
I heard these are the same as the old TRX units...mine was nearly 1 inch higher then my g/f 1500 truck.
Is this why the leveling system is not level and lower in the front?

I thought I read the Outdoorsman model was 1” taller than the other models, but I wouldn’t know anything about it as i have an Express model.

rear fender: 39 1/4

After Rancho QL and Falken 315/70/17

rear fender 40 1/8

After Front settled in with Rancho QL
front fender 39 1/4
rear fender 40 1/8

After Icon 1.5" rear Coil Springs
Rear 41 1/8

After Kings at 4 turns all settled in

This is what I'm trying to figure out too. I'm getting conflicting reports when I Google it. I want to go with Bilsteins, but I want to know.... if the Outdoorsman really is 1" higher, then will setting them at 2.1 only really be 1.1? I only want to do this once. I don't want to have to tear the whole dang thing apart again.

EDIT: I have it all figured out. See my other thread.
