Passenger tail light shows that it's out on the dash but light is on. Turn signal works for a few minutes and then goes out. Already replaced the bulbs, even changed them to LED. Changed out the connectors as well. Can it be the body control module?

Have you checked your CHMBL (center high mount brake lamp) you may have a blown bulb in there, if you're changing to Led's you need to install an inline resistor so the bcm recognizes it.

When my 2014 showed that message, it was always one of the two center high-mount brake light bulbs out.

LED bulbs can cause all kinds of electrical problems.

Yep if you're swapping from incandescent to LED you will have to install the resistors in the tail lights or you will get that message. The icon on the dash is generic though. It doesn't actually indicate which light is out.
