I just purchased this truck. It is pretty much bare bones and I knew that before buying. I would like to add under dash lighting that will come on with door open and turn off as the overhead does.

Wondering if the wiring connections are there, but ******* as I had seen in one video or if they were not put in the tradesman?

Any help would be much appreciated.

The ****** blocked out some of your reply. Have you looked under the dash for the wiring? It’s typically a two wire connector with some foam wrapped around the end and stuck up under the dash. My 2018 BigHorn had the wiring but not the LED pods. It’s a pretty simple install if you do have the wiring already in place. The wiring is easier to find on the passenger side.

Looked, and there is no wiring for them on the driver’s side. With that I didn’t even bother to look on the passenger side.

My 2017 tradesman had the factory wiring under the dash. Completely plug and play on my truck

I guess some trucks don’t have the full wiring harness. You can try reaching out to forum member MPGrimm as he does a lot of wiring harnesses for upgrades. He may have a harness that will work for you. I’d give the passenger side a look as there is a lot less wiring on the passenger side. The factory connectors are usually wrapped up with other wiring harnesses and somewhat hidden. On the passenger side if you pull the lower glovebox out the harness is wrapped and strapped to the center console support.
