Looking for a replacement screen. I think the part might be LA084X01-SL01 or LA084X01-SL02. Need it to fit a 2018 8.4" UAS radio.

Those are the correct part numbers. Both will work in 2018+ UAS and UAQ radios.

When I Google the part numbers the 02 costs about double what the 01 costs. Are they both interchangeable? What would be the advantage of buying the more expensive one?

There is speculation that the 02 revision is free of delamination issues but I haven't seen anything to prove that.

How do I know what replacement screen I need and any ideas on where to order one? Also, currently don't have Nav. Can mine be upgraded to include NAV?

The UAS can not be upgraded to have the built in NAV. Plug your smart phone in and use AndroidAuto/CarPlay, the map apps are a lot better, up to date and show real time data.

Are you talking about the whole radio or just the digitizer part of your screen? There’s a huge thread on upgrading your radio but since you have a 2018 you can probably just get a UAQ radio to plug and play if you already have a 8.4 inch screen without NAV and with carplay

Part numbers are LA084X01-SL01 or LA084X01-SL02. It might be cheaper to upgrade to a UAQ with NAV onboard and sell your delaminating radio.

That is interesting...I think I might have experienced, makes me want to go check the part numbers but I also don't really want to take everything apart again

The screen is delaminating and needs to be replaced.
The best way to figure out your part number is take the radio apart and look for it, should be on the back of the screen. You will have to take the whole radio apart, which is completely doable, there plenty of videos and threads about this if you look for it on this site or on youtube

I'll pile on and add the only SL02 revision I've seen from the factory came out of a 2019 UAS manufactured in June, 2019. It did not have the delamination issue visibly but did have ghost touches.
