Congratulations on the truck! It looked great in the pics. I found Amazon had a bundle deal for the Pennzoil full synthetic and a Molar filter for like $75 bucks which beat the local places.

Ram box’s are great option on these trucks. Pros= no tool box in bed, slightly wider, bigger top rail to stand on. Cons= the panel will come apart and that happened to mine immediately. I’d buy it again though regardless. I solved the delaminatation problem with screws.35DC4348-7A98-43A8-B9B4-DEDEBEE2E337.jpeg

I've got a '21 with the 6.4. With a 1600 lb camper I get 11 mpg. Towing my 7K boat, I get 9-10, with nothing I get about 15 all around. Love it!

My son has a 2014 with the 6.4, 3.73s, that he uses for plowing, hauling. It has 119,000 miles on it. I had his truck for a day. I filled up, drove 74 miles, filled up again (same pump) and calculated fuel consumption at 18.1. This was straight driving, some stops, country roads, no towing.

My son says he can't get that. I believe him!

Dusty

Damn that's some good mileage, I have never gotten 22mpg with my 2010 Laramie 5.7 with the 3.55 rear end, 18 is the best I ever got.

I test drove the 2500 yesterday and I'm just about to pull the trigger, I'm going to test drive a 2018 1500 Laramie with the 3.92 rear end and has only 4200 miles on it, very nice looking truck but I'm really leaning towards that gorgeous 2500.
I guess I should clarify this is imperial mpg not US gal (I’m in Canada and we used imperial gals)
4 quarts versus 3 quarts US (20% more gas per gal)
