Guys, I'm new to the forum and I just traded my lifted diesel of 4 yrs in for a new power wagon. I want to lift my truck and the only two lift kits that are PW specific are the 4" BDS and 4.5" RC. I have had BDS lifts in the past so I can confirm the quality is good. I like the BDS lift but don't like the radius arm relocation brackets. I would rather replace the radius arms. I had a 6.5" zone on my diesel with replacement radius arms it it rode perfectly. Does anyone know if I could use the zone radius arms with the BDS lift or if I could just put the zone 6.5 diesel lift on the PW and add the BDS disconnecting sway bar link. Or I could do the same with the zone 5.5 " gas lift. What would be the pros and cons of it?

I think it depends more on what you plan to do with the PW, how you want it to perform, and how much of a lift you want...

Thuren makes a good lift for the PW and there's also Dodge Off Road LLC, however I'd stay clear of the second as I ordered a lift and long arm kit from them a yr ago and still waiting on some parts

This. Are you wheeling it or is it for looks? Light wheeling or heavy wheeling. Slow crawling or fast off-road?

Main reason I went with the PW is for the lockers and winch . I really just want to clear 37x12 or 13.5 tires on 10 inch wide wheels with no rubbing issues which was easy with my diesel but the pickup will be mildly used off-road as far as driving around on some mountain trails and maybe hit some mud holes from time to time. I'm really considering using the 6.5 zone diesel kit like I had on my diesel and adding BDS sway bar link, but I'm wondering how the front will sit with the stiffer springs. The weight of the winch should help but I think it will still be off a few hundred pounds. Thanks for y'all's feedback

You really don't need much of a lift to clear 37s on these trucks. You can put 37s on stock height but it'll rub on the driver side sway bar at full lock. The Thuren kit will basically level it out in the front and then you shouldn't have any rub.

You're gonna sacrifice some ride quality and some performance by going with anything not specifically for a PW.

37x12.5x20. Cooper Sst’s 2.5 front leveling 1.5 Rear. 0 rubbing. Not sure on offset but was mild. I like the 20’s due to less sidewall wobble. I tow a 30’ camper all the time.
I will probably ad rear air bags this year due to soft rear springs.

Yours look great and I want 20x10 as well. Your offset is about 25 from the look. The amount of lip is the same as mine.

BDS is going to break if you use your truck for any amount of off-roading. Ask the guys that’s go to power wagons in Moab.

The Thuren Overland system will lift the front 1.5 inches if you select that option. You should be able to clear 37s with that fine

Technically speaking, Thurens kit really offers no more clearance than the stock system as it uses no bump-stop drops. So while it might offer a little more elevation at static ride height, it will still allow the tire to cycle up into the fender just like a stock truck.

For many, to fully clear a 37” tire there needs to be minor trimming done to the back of the front wheel well liner. Possibly some metal depending on tire width and wheel width/backspacing.
