Interested also. My 19 had the zoom in on hitch and my 17 does not. One thing I kind of miss

Called, apparently is impossible the fitment is unique to the tailgate and the infotainment system you’d like have to gut the car. Wouldn’t make sense. Why’d you get rid of your 5th gen?

My needs changes and I went from a 1500 to a 3500 CTD. My tractor was right at the limit for the 1500 and then the wife started talking about a camper, so...
Had a 2015 1500 prior to the 2019 and really like the layout of the 4th gen. Saw the 2017 3500 and it was equipped like I wanted and we worked a deal. So now I am in the HD world.

If you called Infotainment they are likely just saying it's not possible because they checked the RamForum and no one has made the DIY for them to sell yet. I can't see why it won't work. It may be easier to just replace the camera in your current handle though with an option from Amazon or eBay though.
