I know they can be a mortgage payment.
I'm not a fancy truck guy.
Gimme roll up windows and a vinyl seat as long as the meat and potatoes are there.

I priced out an 18 on the Ram site just for ballpark ***** and giggles knowing to add at least a grand or 2 for the "new" 19's.
With my options it came out to a tad over 40k.
That was an SLT 4x4 RC with 6.4 & 4:10 lsd.
This will be beast with the 8 speed!

I have built this truck as an 18 no lesss than 4x. Just so happens the 19 was on the lot, the day I rolled through.

20190405_092625.jpg I"m working with a dealer near San Antonio to order a 2019 2500 Big Horn. Here's what the price they came back with...What do you think?

Compared to what Ca is paying, that is a great price for that package

You’re in Texas ...and Boerne ram is awesome! Look at a lone star. That’s typically a “big horn” but labeled Lonestar edition. If and when I buy another truck I’ll drive back to Boerne.

Am I the only one that does not see what the price is?? I always thought that MSRP and Invoice pricing was always the same throughout the country. The difference would be rebates and incentives for certain regions.

The price is almost $4,000 off MSRP.

It’s the same truck and we are moving to Alaska so I may have them change it to the Lone Star editon.

I was building a bunch of different 2500 and 3500 2019’s just to see the price difference between a 3/4 and 1 ton which is really negligible for how much they cost but the interesting thing is I didn’t realize you couldn’t get the new ho diesel in a 2500. Took me off guard because I assumed that 1000 lb/ft was for all hd’s. Maybe it’s just because the frame can’t handle it? Or maybe a first year thing saving it for the big boys. Anybody know what’s up there.

It was the same on the 4th gen trucks. The H.O. 930 lb/ft was only in 3500 trucks. Not sure what the reasoning is behind it. Maybe a legality issue with tow ratings and such?

Sorry was sure you were getting invoice pricing. I have seen a few dealerships offer invoice minus Holdback and then they add back in $500 for the sales guy. Possibly worth a shot to get a little more off the price.

The 1000 ft/lb motor comes only with the AISIN 6-Speed Automatic Transmission, and only in the 3500. Same with the AISIN in previous years. The AISIN tranny option is now $0, but the HO Cummins upgrade is $11,795 so they have just added the tranny cost to the motor upgrade cost.

For those wondering about swapping parts into 4th gens I can tell you the tailgate is a 4th gen gate with a 5th gen skin on the outside. However, unfortunately they changed one of the hinges and it won’t drop into a 4th gen bed without what I consider to be major fabrication. Taillights look to be a bolt in dimensionally but may or may not have to splice harnesses.

I just sold a 2019 hd takeoff bed and this is how I found this out. I was hoping the bed was the same as 10-18 which greatly increases my market for it but one hinge is different. Could probably swap as a whole with gate but tailgate latches are now electric on the 19 so it would have to be figured out and wired for the electric latches. Old latch handle won’t fit the 19 outer skin.
