Anyone else having issues with their dashboard leather delaminating and bubbling? Mine is getting so bad.
Ive asked dealer twice about this as I have extended MVP warranty and I was brushed off about it. Extremely unhappy with this. especially for a 72K vehicle.

There is a recall on the leather bubbling they have to replace the whole dash pad, if it was me I would buy a dash pad, I wouldn't want term to disassemble the complete dashboard to replace it.

We are having this issue as well with our dashboard bubbling. We’re you able to get this resolved?

Yes I'm having the same issue with my 2020 Ram Limited. Very frustrating and it is sad that many owners are experiencing this. Don't know if it's a recall but this is rediculous

My dash was a mess, the dealer told me yesterday Ram was covering under warranty and has the dash on order. Was pretty happy the dealer helped put some pressure on RAM.

Had the same problem with my 19 Laramie Longhorn. Dealer replaced the dash shell without any fuss under warranty. After the work you couldn’t even tell anything was done. No squeaks, rattles, no misalignment. Happy camper here.

I notices on my 2020 1500 limited the section of the dash in front of steering wheel above the cluster has started to pull away from the underneath structure where it is glued. The leather and rubber trim have shrunk otherwise it could be fixed easily. Called the dealer and I was told this is occurring on Rams and Jeep products. There is no recall but is covered by 3yr/36000 mile warranty. Fortunately, I am still in warranty but just by 4 months and 3,000 miles. I was told the parts are over $700 plus it takes better part of a day to do the job. I do not believe the Mopar extended warranty, which I have, covers this type of repair. It is considered cosmetic. Knowing Chrysler they will not issue a recall because it is not a safety issue.

They put you in an odd position if you are out of warranty on your dash and then even trickier if you do not purchase the truck at the dealership you are trying to have it serviced at.I have an extended warranty but its useless because they do not cover manufacturer defects or Leather that just lifts off a dash or bubbles in high heat environments.

You have to find a Dealer that would be willing to work with you on a warranty repair and suggest calling around to find a Service Mgr that will work with you to repair it out of warranty. You then need to schedule an appt with them and pray that the Service Mgr will fix it under some kind of warranty help from @RamCares or some goodwill program.Seems to be hit or miss you gets there dash replaced and who doesn't. I am out of waranty by time only but have just 27K on the odometer, kinda the same story of everybody else.Just crazy dissapointing we are all going through this.

I am in this fiasco right now calling anyone that will listen...

WELL guys I decided I had just about of enough of the all issues with my 20 Ram Limited and traded it in on a different brand of truck.I liked my RAM but didn't feel like they cared about making things right. It left me stranded twice on a battery drain issue and the dash issue was enough to say get this outta here. You shouldn't even have to be begging a Dealer to help you with a manufacturer defect on a three year old truck @60K because cause your out of warranty by 6mos.

Hopefully your new dealership treats you better. There's tons of post where people change brands and vow to never buy another xxxxx brand of truck again. The problem isn't the brand but the dealership your dealing with.

I got the same issue with my 2019 Ram 1500 Limited, I noticed the bubbles and when I was in Texas for work, the heat i guess made it worse and the leather literally started to come out of the seams on the dashboard by the center speaker and the top of the driver side main Panel above the steering wheel. I reached out to @RamCares hopefully they can help me out.

My 2020 RAM Limited is doing the exact same thing on the driver side so thanks for posting the photos.
Has @RamCares acknowledged the issue and offered any assistance to you or anyone for that matter? I see some people who discover the issue while under the initial warranty are getting some satisfaction but haven't seen any posts from people like me who are out of warranty.

Squid, mine is also. Around the corner from you in Destin. Tried a few dealers and they nope. 2019, just rolled into 50,000... I keep it in my garage. Showroom looking, except this horrible dash.

My 2019 Laramie Longhorn dash is bubbling also and my factory warranty is up because I brought it used with 38k miles on it. Dealer informed me it's a common issue and they haven't had an extended warranty cover it yet because it's cosmetic and not mechanical. Also the cost out of pocket is about $2500 installed.

That really sucks. Another reason why I started avoiding leather, big touch screens (especially for climate control), lane avoidance, multiple cameras, auto tail gates, LED lighting (what an expensive nightmare) auto seats, sun roofs, etc in vehicles after having so many issues with multiple brands including Honda, Chevy, Dodge, Ford, KIA, Toyota having those same issues over the years. Just what happens to leather and tech in vehicles.

Sure they look pretty and flashy when new but just not worth the cost or headach. I hope you can get it resolved and others can learn from our past mistakes.

So glad I was able to get cloth and avoid all the other tech issues by having the option of a tradesman. Everything you need except remote start and heated eats but notting you don't, and I got the remote start heated seats installed for $600.

Has anyone been able to get this issue repaired? I am having the same problem. I wonder if a class action could be brought against RAM since it is a manufacturer issue. Just a thought.
