I have a 19 longhorn with factory 20s and I just had my bilsteins installed. I love the difference in height but I definitely need bigger tires now. I was looking at the nitto ridge grappler 295/60r20s but was afraid they'd be too wide and hit the upper control arm as the factory tires didn't seem that far now.

Any one running a similar set up with the wider and taller tires?

Thanks. 20200327_165107.jpg 20200327_165054.jpg 20200327_164950.jpg

What notch did you put it at? I’m going to put these on once they get here. I ordered them on 3/18 and not showed up. I ordered 295/65/20 to out on it

These are supposed to be on setting 5. I didn't do the install so I'm assuming they set it to my preference. Lol.

I've just been hoping to see a few people with stock wheels running 295s before I take the jump and they don't fit. Im only concerned about them clearing the upper control arm, it"s not very far from it now with the stock 275s

Whenever you do a leveling kit should you install new upper control arms?

After taking measurements I was told 295s will not fit with my factory longhorn wheels. Apparently my offset is different then other factory wheels models and my tires would hit my upper control arm where the spindle is attached.

So I went with 275/65r20s. Still got my height and it's wider then the factory 275s. I love the look of them. 20200417_123854.jpg 20200417_123904.jpg 20200417_123914.jpg

That's what I think. I want to take it back down 1 setting. Or lift the rear not sure yet.

Looks great, do you think it'll fit with the 5100's on #4 or #3 so you don't have the sag?

I basically have the same truck, but tow.. so I don't want the sag when towing, but want the bigger tires. :D

I've actuality thought more about a spacer in the rear.

Not sure if it will fit if I go down. I would have to take measurements before.

I'm thinking my cap is weighing down the truck just enough where it's below level.

I'm not too bothered by it though. Just wish it was about a half inch higher in rear.

Then just put a little spacer in the back. Boom, done.

Well the truth is, if you have a level truck when unloaded, then you will need to get air bags to level it back off when towing (or some type of means of raising the rear anyway).

That has been my preferred method. I like a close to level truck when unloaded. So I added bags for the times I do tow, that way I am level at all times.

What type of bags do you have? That was an option.

I went with airlift 5000’s on my power wagon, with daystar cradles for the axle so they are not secured to the axle at all.
