2019 RAM 2500 Laramie interior LEDs?

Ok so just got this truck on monday and I already hate the (lack of) interior light. Are the map lights and dome light LEDs or incandescents? I’ve got to get these replaced ASAP. I searched here and google and all that came up was tradesman and bighorn bulb guides that don’t match my Laramie. I’d love to get a bulb guide for the Laramie specific trim.

To bump and ask a question. Can someone confirm what side to pry the map lens off with a trim tool? I’m going to just open these up myself and would not want to break off a tab.

I just put this set of LED bulbs from amazon in yesterday in my 2022 Lonestar. I can't say if they are different for the Laramie, I wouldn't think so. This is a complete set for the interior plus 2 for tag lights which are factory LED's, so I ended up with a pair of extras for map and footwell lights. They look great, bright white, much better than the candle powered stock ones. $20 bucks for the set of 13 bulbs. Don't know how long they will last, but going to find out.

I used a very small flat blade screw driver. Very gently start at the end towards the front of the pickup. Work your way around both sides and it will come pop out. Be careful to not touch the reflected lens, they scratch very easy and finger prints can't be wiped off.

The images of the other lower trim levels I’ve been seeing online show a different lens housing / overhead console design is why I’m asking.

Here’s what mine looks like, can anyone confirm if this is what that have on their 2019+ 2500? They look like LEDs to me.

My Laramie 2500 is a 2021. The interior lights are LEDs. The centre light console looks the same as yours. Have you adjusted the rotary switch for maximum brightness on the floor board and seat lights. There are two rotary dials just to the right of the headlight control switch. One controls dash brightness the other interior light brightness.

I have adjusted that dial but the lights are still pretty dim. Are they hard wired or bulbs? I may have to engineer my own solution if I cannot change them.
