At 13,000 Km they replaced the torque converter and transmission, last September they started a ticket with Engineering. I heard back from FIAT customer care last week that this is NORMAL and there is no fix for this. I currently have a shudder when the torque converter unlocks and a bang from the rear end while driving at different speeds . So much for truck of the year!

It's obviously not normal, though it MAY not cause any major problem. No excuse, nonetheless. Sucks when there's an issue but you get no help.

I'd think you could pretty easily show that it's not normal by looking at any of the trucks on the lot. Seems you'll have to make a stink, but I wouldn't settle.

I was considering covering the truck with lemons and sitting outside the dealership until they make me an offer

It's "normal" in that many many 2019's do it, including mine. Just don't hang onto the brake pedal when it turns over. Only touch it long enough to get the starter to kick on and immediately let go.
