Isn’t the generator/alternator part of the hybrid system ? Could Stellantis USA help pay for the repair being below 60 000 miles or 5 years ?

Had a “whining” noise that started on my 2021 Ram 1500. Sounded like a drivetrain issue but dealer said it was start/stop alternator that needed replacing. Said two day delivery and us covered under warranty.
Sound right to you guys?
