Hi everyone.

I just bought a 2020 Laramie 3500 with the 6.7L. I'm new to Dodge. Been a Ford owner till now. This new truck came with air ride suspension. That too is new to me. Can I do a leveling kit with this suspension set up? It says in the manual that the suspension levels itself out automatically. How would that work with a leveling kit?

Thanks for any input. I've got a lot to learn about this truck.

I believe the air suspension operates just by sensors in the rear alone....as in, no conjunction with the front.

Most of the air suspension trucks I have seen are quite level from the factory. Well, the 2500 ones anyway. I am not familiar with the 3500...does it have a combination of leaf springs and bags, or bags only?

Did you measure the difference between front and rear on your truck? I wouldn't go any less than 3/4-1” higher in the back....they start looking like they are sagging ass if they are any closer than that.

Check out the YouTube channel for CJC Off Road....they explain all your options. I went with the Thuren 2 inch leveling kit with new front Fox shocks. I sit exactly 3/4 inch higher in the rear and the ride is awesome. On their page they address 2500’s and 3500’s both with and without air ride.

Thank you!

No problem. The fellas at CJC actually answer the phone and are happy to talk and answer questions. Very refreshing in this day an age
