Anybody experience heavy DEF usages 5 gallons in 3000 mile on new truck with 3000 miles on truck.

Are you towing? I'm not towing all that much and I go through a tank in about 1300 miles give or take depending on heavy foot

That does seem excessive even while towing. My truck doesn't use anywhere near that much even when towing.

That's excessive DEF usage. My 2020 3500 dually diesel doesn't use that much.

Towing I get 600-650 miles per gallon of DEF. Just cruising around DEF last forever. Can hardly see the gauge move.
